Share with us a God-moment camper story that you have seen or been a part of:

I wasn’t able to interact on a spiritual level with campers (since I was on Program) but I had a friend who was a camper and when she came out of camp she truly felt better about herself, learned a lot, and understood the Word on a greater level, and respected her counselors a lot … so that was really cool for me to see a friend have that experience.

What are some awesome ways God has moved at camp that you've seen or been a part of?

Watching the counselors and CITs interact with campers throughout the summer was extremely cool!

How has your life been impacted after working at camp?

I have a lot of new friendships with people I never thought I would! My relationship with the Lord is better than it has ever been, I feel like I have a better work ethic which has helped my parents out and has lead to a better relationship between us too!

How has your life been transformed by working at camp?

I feel a lot more mature … my walk with the Lord is extremely stronger and I am more confident to talk to other people about my faith. I also learned how to do a lot of super random things at camp which was fun. I’ve noticed more positivity in my life because of camp and it has also given me great opportunities and friends!

What has God been teaching you lately?

He has been teaching me that things will happen in your life that you won’t have full control over and that is okay. He will always protect us!

What is a Bible verse that you keep going back to lately? What is it teaching you?

James 1:1-4 … we studied it a lot in Bible study this summer. I think because we went through it so thoroughly it makes me think of it more often, especially in times where I don’t want to count it all joy, it always seems to remind me to be more positive.

This is so hard because so many funny things have happened!

Morning drop-offs with Jiminy, Swazi, and Kronk were always fun. something exciting always happened. And the surprise birthday party my deans threw for me!

It’s an amazing place where you grow in an incredible community with all sorts of people who all have the same goal: to spread the Gospel and learn more about the Lord in an outdoor environment!
